Everything starts with a dot ...
I can’t think without drawing it out, so I always start with a dot ... a what-if ... a silly thought that I eventually take seriously. If I connect enough of them, lines start to form and give my ideas a shape.
If I'm lucky, I'll get to create something that people can connect with. It just takes one ... drop of thought.
Hi, I'm Patrick
Long story short, I was born in the Philippines, I grew up in the United Arab Emirates, and I'm figuring out the rest in Canada.
I am a multimedia artist, and I fuse my love of the following to tell stories and create interactive content:
Check out my past work and art below. Get in touch and let's create something together.

My (professional) bag of tricks
I love problems and puzzles way too much ... I may need professional help.
The beauty of building training materials and learning experiences for 10+ years, is that there's no shortage of creative problems. I've had the privilege of working for ICOM Productions, Shaw Communications (prior to Rogers acquisition), and ATB Financial, and with every role I take on, I get to add to my bag.
My (art) playground
Stories are the main ingredient to my art, and I follow its lead like a dancing partner. Even though I can't dance to save my life, I simply hold on until the story decides what medium it wants to take shape as.

"where they play" (2024) : solo show
I've always liked the idea of telling stories around a campfire. This show explored the idea of "what if stories could tell stories?" as paintings sat around a campfire and invited us to join the circle.
Third time's a charm? (2019-2020)
I love playing with lines to see what type of textures or images I can create. This is the 3rd time that I've attempted to draw everyday for a year, and unfortunately, I came up short. Maybe the 4th attempt will be better?
Short films and animation
Ever since 2020, I've completely jumped into the rabbit hole that is filmmaking. I've fallen in love with every aspect of making films, and I've had the privilege of working with amazing people as a: director, storyboard artist, cinematographer, screenwriter, editor, colorist, and on-set troublemaker.
